Richard Swift was born Ricardo Ochoa on March 16, 1977, in Orange, California. He met his wife, Shealynn Swift, at Child’s Way Christian School in Dorena, California. The couple had three children together. Outside of acting, in 1998, he released his first CD of original worship music as Richard Ochoa & The Windrose Band, which led him to sign a record deal with Metro One.
