Philippine Pascal was born to Philippe de Rothschild and Élisabeth Pelletier de Chambure. She had two children from her first marriage to Jacques Sereys and one child from her second marriage to Jean Pierre de Beaumarchais. Philippe was part of the famous Rothschild family, and her grandparent, Henri De Rothschild, added to her notable lineage.

Career

Philippine acted in La Comédie Française from 1958 to 1964 and was part of the Renaud-Barrault stage company between 1973 and 1987. She graduated from the Paris Conservatoire National d’Art Dramatique in 1958 and became a prominent figure in the wine industry, serving as chairwoman of Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. In 2013, she received a lifetime achievement award from the Institute of Masters of Wine.
