Gladys Walton was born on April 13, 1903, in Boston, Massachusetts. She was married four times, to Henry Merritt Herbel, Frank Liddell, Spiro (Samuel) Dilles, and Kenneth James Wells. Gladys had six children and was well-known for her charm and talent during her career as a silent film star.

Career

Gladys started her acting career at a young age, working with the Sunshine Comedy Company when she was just sixteen. She was under contract with Universal from 1919 to 1925, earning $500 a week at the height of her popularity. Throughout her career, she appeared in numerous films, becoming a prominent figure in the silent film era.

Death and Legacy

Gladys Walton passed away on November 15, 1993, in Morro Bay, California, due to cancer.
