Estelle Jayne was born Estelle Marie Jochumsen on February 2, 1904, in Alameda, California. She was married to Barry Griffith King from August 19, 1926, until his death in 1980, and they had two children together. After her acting career, she took on the role of a hatha yoga instructor in various locations in California, including Rancho San Mirage, Fairbanks, and at the Scripps Memorial Well Being Center in Encinitas until 1994.
